SUNS Order — Restaurant and Cafe Management Platform
SUNS Order is a comprehensive web-based management platform that allows restaurant and cafe businesses to run all their operations from a single screen. Designed and developed by SUNS Tech, the system brings together everything a business needs on a daily basis — order tracking, inventory control, table management, product catalog, and reporting — all within one centralized dashboard.
The platform is built with a flexible and scalable architecture suitable for everything from small cafes to medium and large-scale restaurants.
Key Features
Centralized Dashboard
The opening screen provides a full overview of the entire business at a glance. Total order count and order statuses (pending, preparing, completed, cancelled, refunded), product and inventory summary, active category count, and real-time table occupancy are all visible immediately. Order and table statuses are displayed through live pie charts for instant operational awareness.
Order Management
All orders are listed on a single screen showing order number, table number, amount, creation time, and status. Orders can be instantly filtered by status (pending, preparing, ready, delivered, paid, cancelled, refunded) using quick-filter buttons. Additional filtering by table and date range, search by order number, and column-header sorting are all available. Detail view, payment processing, editing, and deletion are handled from the same screen.
Product Management
A photo-based product catalog supporting up to 72+ items displays product name, price, stock quantity, category, and active status together. Products can be sorted by 6 different criteria, with instant search and filtering by name, price, and category. Adding new products, editing existing ones, and removing items are all straightforward operations.
Category Management
Menu items are organized under categories. Active and passive categories are managed separately, and their statuses are tracked in real time.
Interactive Floor Plan and Bird's-Eye Table Map
One of SUNS Order's most powerful features is its interactive floor plan system that brings the physical venue into the digital world with complete accuracy. A separate layout is created for each floor — ground floor, first floor, terrace, and so on. In the grid-based interface, each cell is marked as a table, wall, or entrance. Multiple cells can be merged to represent large or corner tables exactly as they appear in real life. The result is a precise digital replica of the venue's bird's-eye layout. The business owner can see exactly where every table is on the map, while staff can track which tables are empty, occupied, reserved, or out of service in real time. For multi-floor or large-capacity restaurants, this feature dramatically reduces operational complexity.
Pre-Order by Appointment — Order Before You Arrive, Ready When You Walk In
In today's world, time is the most valuable resource. SUNS Order's pre-order feature allows customers to place their order before arriving at the cafe or restaurant and request it to be ready at a specific time. By the time they walk through the door, the order is already waiting. Waiting time drops to zero. This feature not only boosts customer satisfaction — it also allows kitchen and service teams to plan their workload in advance, raising operational efficiency across the board. Time is value, and this feature delivers it to both the customer and the business.
Order Notifications
Critical order updates and real-time alerts are tracked through a dedicated notifications panel. Staff are immediately informed of new and pending orders.
Role Management
Different staff roles can be defined, each with specific access permissions. Dashboard access can be customized for different user profiles such as cashier, waiter, kitchen staff, and manager.
Reports
Sales, order, and inventory data can be analyzed through the reporting screen. Business owners can track performance over time and make operational decisions based on real data.
Dark and Light Theme Support
The platform can be used in either dark or light mode based on user preference. This detail reduces eye strain during long shifts and contributes meaningfully to the overall user experience.
How It Works
1. Registration and Login The business owner registers on the platform and opens their session through the secure login screen.
2. Menu and Table Setup Products are added with photos, pricing, and stock information, organized under categories. An interactive floor map is created based on the physical layout of the venue.
3. Daily Operations Orders are created or tracked from the dashboard, table statuses are monitored in real time, and inventory levels are kept under control.
4. Reporting and Analysis Daily, weekly, or monthly sales and order data are reported for performance evaluation and informed decision-making.
