We Were Invited to the Rising Women Program
SUNS Technology was invited by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Family and Social Services to the Istanbul event of the "Rising Women: My Own Business, My Own Path" (Yükselen Kadınlar: Kendi İşim, Benim İzim) program, run in cooperation with Halkbank. Our co-founder Nezire Tosun attended the program on behalf of the company.
Held on 17 September 2026 at the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center, the event brought together women who want to start or grow their own businesses, public institutions, the financial sector and the wider business ecosystem.
What Is the Rising Women Program?
"Rising Women: My Own Business, My Own Path" aims to help women gain confidence on their entrepreneurial journey, turn their business ideas into reality and strengthen local economies. The program, which seeks to enrich Türkiye's entrepreneurship ecosystem, continues with events in different cities, and the Istanbul gathering was part of this series.
The event focused on helping women entrepreneurs take stronger steps, develop their personal brands and grow their businesses.
What Was Discussed During the Day?
The program opened with speeches by Halkbank General Manager Recep Süleyman Özdil, Istanbul Governor Davut Gül and Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş. Hosted by Nihan Günay, the day featured sessions covering different aspects of entrepreneurship:
